Since Sept 2008 my life has been absolutely wonderful. It was love at first sight and what we had in common was just totally unexpected, there were silly materialistic things like favorite chocolate, and the same bedroom wall colors by coincidence, but what drew me in the most was our outlook on life, we both want the same things out of life, we both understand the pathways in which we want to achieve this, which is in my eyes the glue in a relationship. Unlike my experiences previously, the immediate click and connection was much deeper than it had been before. But of course there were things that needed to be sorted out in our personal lives, but i hoped and prayed that one day he'd notice me in the same light that i saw him. I wanted to show him that love isn't a job, you shouldn't have to bend over backwards to satisfy, and that there should be no manipulating mind games being played, but mostly i just wanted to be able to show and give him the love that i know i have inside of me, and he let me. Neither of us have glanced back with a single thought of regret, not a moment has gone by that we haven't grown stronger. I feel so lucky, so so lucky for finding my soul mate because even though its only been 8 months, he gives me butterflies just simply thinking about him..and i simply cannot wait to spend forever with him.
